Clean Up is a multimedia installation exhibited at gta Exhibitions that documents the cleaning procedure of Office Party’s recent workshop at the ETH Zurich Department of Architecture. A projected film displays the cleaning of a campus event space that hosted a party the night prior. Workshop participants, with their exhaustion and hangovers, sweep the floors and reflect on the party through the objects and residue encountered through the process. The projected film is accompanied by the objects collected through the cleaning procedure, available for viewers to sift through and analyze. The installation encourages viewers to consider alternative forms of pedagogical material (counter to traditional note-taking and syllabi) and the documentation of temporary gatherings.
